London Pictures

Here are some of my favorite pictures of our trip. We arrive in London at 7:30 a.m. We are able to check in early at the hotel and by 9:30 we are off checking out the city. The first day there we went to Parliament, West Minister Abby, and the Victoria and Albert museum. Stopped to eat around 6:30 finally found our hotel again by 9:00. Day 2 was just as busy. We had the big bus city tour, river ride up the Thames, Tower of London, and a play. Day three Buckingham Palace. We went through the stables, the Queen's gallery and the Palace. We went on the Eye of London. It takes 30 minutes to make one rotation. That night we went to see Wicked. Day four we rented a car and went to the Cotswolds. We found a phone booth in the middle of no where, we had to take our picture in it. It was nice to get out of the city and enjoy the country. Dallin told us about a church one of Grandpa S. relatives helped build and hang a bell in with his name on it. We found the church. It was built around the 16 hundreds. One of the doors was built so a knight on his horse could enter the building. It was pretty exciting to find it. Day 5 we went to Bath, Windsor Palace, and Stonehenge. As tour groups go it wasn't bad. We had plenty of time to see everything we wanted to. We went by Jane Austin's house on the way to the Roman Bath. I would've liked to stop, but the bus driver did have a schedule to keep. Next time. The 6th day we went to Paris. We waited for 2 1/2 hrs. to get tickets for the Eiffel Tower. It was worth it. We spent the rest of the day walking all around Paris. We had dinner in the park by the Louve.
By the time we finished the Louve was closed. Oh well next time we may actually make it in. Our last day we finally went shopping. It was a great trip and I can' wait to go back!

Family Reunion

Here is the highlights of the family reunion. With pictures of course. Camping at Cherry Hill was fun. All the kids did well together. Boating was one of my favorite things to do. Thanks Mel and Cinda for bringing the boat! Lagoon was Lagoon. Carla and Brian stayed in the lazy river for about two hours. That would be too much excitement for me. Cinda got stuck there for the same amount of time, but Preston feel asleep on her. Everyone had fun going on the rides. Grandma enjoyed watching the great grandkids having fun. July fourth we went to Park City. We all went down the Alpine slide and A few of us adults went down the zip line. The Alpine slide is soo much fun. Dustin and I raced. He left before I did but it didn't take long to catch up and pas him. He did have Kaylie so it might not have been a fair race. We raced again on the zip line. He left way before I did, but I caught up to him again and passed him. He was surprised! Its not to hard to fly down the mountain when you can curl up into a ball.
The update is quick and messy, one of these days I'll figure it out. Dallin and Jen Cinda will have to tell me how to add you back to my list. I missed a dash and got someone's blog I didn't know. I'll get you on there next time I update.

Sooo cute!

The long awaited dance recital has come and gone. Kelsey and Kaylie did very well. They didn't act scared or nervous at all. (For Kelsey that is saying something!) They loved getting their hair done and make up on. When it was over I asked Kelsey if she changed her mind and sign up for dance again. "NO!" she says. Whittney and Lexi came and watched them and want to do it next year. Kelsey changed her mind. It will be fun to have all four of them dancing together.
